Today we share with you Erin + Rob’s gorgeous wedding…you might remember Erin + Rob’s hot and sexy Love Shoot in Long Island that we posted a little while back. This couple is so sweet, easy going, and not to mention….oh my do they have chemistry!!! Erin looked absolutely stunning (even while she was getting ready!), Rob was so chill (even while he was getting ready!), and the emotions were running high the entire day….what more can you ask for?
Erin shares with us:
Rob and I started our romance in January 2006. We had an instant bond, and from my perspective I was shocked and thrilled that he was as into me as I was into him from the beginning. We weren’t looking for love at the time we met each other, but as the saying goes, you will find love once you have stopped searching. We were engaged two and half years later on August 10, 2008 at the Brookhaven Balloon Festival on Long Island. His proposal was like a dream. A mile above the ground, floating in a hot air balloon, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. In that moment, I was flooded with emotion and sounds just seemed to blend together in my head. I barely could process anything he said, but the one most important thing I vividly remember him telling me was that I am his best friend. That was all I ever wanted as a woman – to marry someone I could call my best friend. And I had found him, and he had found me.
We waited two years to get married, and as I look at the pictures I can’t help but laugh a little at the insanity of planning a wedding for TWO years! I know many people do it, but every decision was a long, and sometimes tedious process, because we had the time to think about it. If we had less time to plan, it wouldn’t have been so painstaking to make every decision. But, the one good thing about having all that time to plan is that we really were able to find things we truly loved. I adored our flowers, cake, favors, church, reception. All of it!
…and so did we Erin! Enjoy!!!
