A few days ago we shared with you a bit of Amber + Oscar’s beautiful wedding…..and today we bring you more! Enjoy!
Amber shares more about their beautiful wedding:
“The pinks, grays and blush tones set the tone for our romantic, vintage theme. The floral arrangements by Yumiko at Hana Floral Design were stunning. She took my vision and made it a reality. The anemones and dusty miller gave a vintage feel while the plush peonies and garden roses stated romantic luxury and complimented the floral appliques on my gown. The girls each wore a different style dress by Bari Jay. I wanted each of them to be comfortable and show their own style and personality.
We worked with Emily’s Catering to customize a menu that was a reflection of who we are. With Oscar being Portuguese and me being Italian, food was a very important part of our day. Emily’s prepared amazing hors d’oeuvres and a beautiful Mediterranean grazing table. Entrée choices consisted of Filet Mignon, Red Snapper or Prosciutto stuffed chicken breast. Our dessert table consisted of 6 different cupcake flavors, Tiramisu, Cheesecake lollipops, Crème Brule, the list goes on.
Of course no wedding is perfect, and ours was no exception. When the girls were all ready to head over the venue, my mother and Maid of Honor helped me into my gown. It was beautiful, just a little too BIG! Paul and Krystal of Studio Foto and their assistant for the day, Kasey Matson, saved the day by helping the girls pin the inside of my dress so it wouldn’t fall and drag. Down to the last minute we were frantically pinning and pulling to make it stay in place. Luckily we pulled it off and no one ever knew.
It was a complete whirlwind and went by in the blink of an eye. IT WAS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE! Luckily, we had incredible photographers who captured the day so we can relive it through photos for the rest of our lives.”
