Emily shares more…..

Details, details, details!

I crafted for months and months! I made the hair piece for myself and my maid of honor and bobby pins for one of my brides maids. I made my veil and all of my bridesmaids jewelry which came out sooo awesome, they looked really great next to each other.  I also made our cake toppers! They were really cute little owls, one was big, like my husband and the little owl was wearing a top hat! The little owl was made with orange feathers with a little veil, which looked like me! With some help from family and friends, I made the seed packets to throw while walking down the isle. I also drew a large tree with to take place of a guest book, where all of our friends and family could make a finger print as a leaf and sign their name over it! It came out awesome and it will be hanging in our house forever.

Your favorite memories/ highlights of the day?

The entire day was so awesome and full of love. Our friends and family were so happy for us, which really made the day feel that much more special. My favorite memory of the day was the ceremony and my father singing. Walking down the isle to Tim was so surreal and it was the happiest moment of my life.

Advice you’d give other brides that you learned from your own experience?

Start planning early, especially if you plan on making alot of things for the wedding which will take alot of time. Also, make sure you surround your self with people who want to help you and be apart of the wedding process and make sure people who are stressful stay away! It is very easy to get overwhelmed with the wedding planning, so make sure you do everything in your power to keep it calm and fun

…..And just incase you missed the beautiful film that Jeremy White from Fairfax Films made of their day… it is again!!!!…..
